Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. It rests on the fact that God is our Heavenly Father and it is our desire to please Him. Our fear is healthy, good, respectful, and driven by our love for Him. Joshua 24:14 tells us, “So fear the LORD and serve him wholeheartedly... Serve the LORD alone."
